Dreaming and Visualising: The Birthplace of Creativity

Everything that exists in this world began as a dream, a vision held by someone passionate enough to bring it to life. Your wedding day is no exception. It's time to embrace the power of dreaming and visualising as the foundation of your perfect day.

Remember, dreaming big is not a sign of immaturity. Even the legendary heavyweight boxer Muhammad Ali visualised and predicted the outcomes of his matches, he coined this techique creating his Future History. His relentless dedication to visualising every detail of his fights transformed his dreams into reality. And just like Ali, you too can harness the power of visualisation to manifest your dream wedding.

Lets create a stunning vision board to get the wedding sparks of inspiration flowing!

Building Your Dream: Creating a Vision Board

To kickstart the dreaming phase, let's embark on the journey of creating a beautiful vision board. This powerful tool will inspire you and ignite your imagination, setting your wedding sparks flying.

Start by visiting Pinterest, a wonderful platform that acts as a search engine for all things inspirational. Similar to Google, you can enter keywords related to your wedding vision and discover a wealth of ideas. As you explore, don't hesitate to think outside the box and let your creativity flow.

Pinterest allows you to create boards and pin your findings. You can even categorize your pins to keep things organized, although it's not necessary. As you pin images, your mind will naturally gravitate towards complementary elements like colors, aesthetics, and themes. Without realizing it, you'll curate a collection of images that harmonize with one another.

Now, if you find yourself inspired by everything or tend to fall for shiny objects, your board may end up with a mix of various styles and concepts. Don't worry! Simply select a few images that resonate with you the most, and build from there. Eliminate images that don't align with your chosen ones, replacing them with new ones that work in harmony.

Crafting Your Vision: Bringing Your Dreams to Life

Once you've pinned and selected a maximum of 20 to 30 images, it's time to transform them into a vision board. You have multiple options for this step: you can use a free template on Canva, print and stick the images onto a physical board, or save them in a Word document—choose the method that suits you best.

Add words and phrases that reflect how you want to feel on your big day. These could include emotions like joy, love, and enchantment, as well as qualities you wish to imbue into your wedding atmosphere, such as elegance, whimsy, or intimacy.
